This listing details a beautiful parcel of 12 Cintamani Saffordites from Arizona, USA. You will receive the exact stones shown in the photographs. Each of these pieces have their own unique deep and intricate craters, runes, symbols, or pits. The surface texture truly draws the eye, and intrigues the mind. This grouping details a lovely selection of slightly weathered stones. Most of them show translucency with minimal to ambient back lighting. These amazing stones appear black to smokey burgundy unless held to light. The color of each varies depending on light source, but most display a smokey lavender to amber hue. Some show slight mineralization and lichen on their exteriors, and they have excellent texture patterns. These stones are perfect for grids, displays, medicine bags, meditation, reki, and more. They are great sizes for crafting and jewelry as well.
The origins of this Arizona Desert Glass are still being debated. Some view these as tektites. Others theorize they are the most ancient remnants of terrestrial obsidian from lava flows or 'Grandfather Volcanoes'. The community all agree however, that it is some of the oldest natural glass remaining on the planet (some estimate 35 million years old). They exhibit many of the characteristics know to tektites and even appear to have lechatelierite deposits as well. We continue to research these amazing stones to learn more about their storied past. Regardless of their origin they are both beautiful, mysterious, and rare. They capture and play with light like no other stone, and truly have a unique energy of their own- beautiful, intriguing, and ancient.

Standard shipping is the most economical method- First Class Mail through the U.S. Postal Service. This does not come with guaranteed tracking to the destination. I ship through USPS First Class Mail in order to offer low cost shipping. Unfortunately, this service is highly variable on shipping times, and is inconsistent in tracking international. Typically packages can arrive anywhere from 10-30 business days or longer. Although First Class is my default shipping method I highly recommend upgraded shipping for express shipping times, guaranteed tracking, and insurance.
