This listing is for one Cintamani Saffordite stone directly from the Senora Desert in Arizona. The first photo details a selection of nine Saffordite Cintamani to choose from. This grouping details a selection of cloudy translucent to banded translucent stones. This selection of stones show translucency with bright back lighting. They appear black to smokey burgundy unless held to light. The color of each varies depending on light source, but most display a smokey lavender to amber hue. Some show slight mineralization, weathering, minor chips, and ancient worn abrasions on the surface. These stones are perfect for grids, displays, medicine bags, meditation palm stones, reki, and more.
Each photo is labeled with an item number for reference in selecting from the drop down menu. You will receive the exact individual stone that you select. There is also a 1cm cube in the group photo for size reference. There is one photo showing two 'main' sides of each stone. Also a clip of each piece is shown (in descending order) in the video.
The origins of this Arizona Desert Glass are still being debated. Some view these as tektites. Others theorize they are the most ancient remnants of terrestrial obsidian from lava flows or 'Grandfather Volcanoes'. The community all agree however, that it is some of the oldest natural glass remaining on the planet (some estimate 35 million years old). They exhibit many of the characteristics know to tektites and even appear to have lechatelierite deposits as well. We continue to research these amazing stones to learn more about their storied past. Regardless of their origin they are both beautiful, mysterious, and rare. They capture and play with light like no other stone, and truly have a unique energy of their own- beautiful, intriguing, and ancient.
The cube in the group photograph is 1cm for scale. We hand cleanse each stone in fresh water to remove loose sand and dirt. None of our stones are oiled, tumbled, or modified in any way. Orders typically ship within 24 hours of payment being processed.

Is shipping guaranteed to track?
Standard shipping is the most economical method- First Class Mail through the U.S. Postal Service. This does not come with guaranteed tracking to the destination. The package usually scans and updates within the U.S. however, international tracking is not available. It is the buyers responsibility to understand all shipping/customs policies in their country.

Are there estimated shipping times for First Class Package?
I ship through USPS First Class Mail in order to offer low cost shipping. Unfortunately, this service is highly variable on shipping times, and is inconsistent in tracking international. Typically packages can arrive anywhere from 10-30 business days or longer. Although First Class is my default shipping method I highly recommend upgraded shipping for express shipping times, guaranteed tracking, and insurance. How will my items come packaged?
Safe and responsible packaging is one of our main priorities. We package every order carefully inside a high quality reinforced shipping box.
