This listing details a beautiful Saffordite Cintamani Stone directly from the Senora Desert in Arizona. These amazing stones appear black on the surface, but once held to light show they are translucent. This specimen is highly textured and translucent even under lower light levels.
The origins of this Arizona Desert Glass are still being debated. Some view these as tektites. Others theorize they are the most ancient remnants of terrestrial obsidian from lava flows or 'Grandfather Volcanoes'. The community all agree however, that it is some of the oldest natural glass remaining on the planet (some estimate 35 million years old). They exhibit many of the characteristics know to tektites and even appear to have lechatelierite deposits as well. We continue to research these amazing stones to learn more about their storied past. Regardless of their origin they are both beautiful, mysterious, and rare. They capture and play with light like no other stone, and truly have a unique energy of their own- beautiful, intriguing, and ancient.
This piece is perfectly sized for jewelry, crafting, grids, reki, or medicine bags. Placed into the display frame, this small point makes a big statement. The frame comes with a removeable base to allow it to stand. The case opens like a book to allow for removal/ placement of the crystal point. Clear plastic film holds the crystal in place which means no contact points to interfere with viewing. This crystal is shipped already placed inside the frame for easy display. It makes for the perfect gift for someone with a March birthday (Aquamarine is the birthstone for March), or novice/ expert collector alike!

Is shipping guaranteed to track?
Standard shipping is the most economical method- First Class Mail through the U.S. Postal Service. This does not come with guaranteed tracking to the destination. The package usually scans and updates within the U.S. however, international tracking is not available. It is the buyers responsibility to understand all shipping/customs policies in their country.
We offer many shipping upgrades which include tracking and insurance upon request. Please contact us to customize shipping options (such as signature confirmation and added insurance) or select 'Tracking and Insurance' as an upgrade to Priority mail.

Are there estimated shipping times for First Class Package?
I ship through USPS First Class Mail in order to offer low cost shipping. Unfortunately, this service is highly variable on shipping times, and is inconsistent in tracking international. Typically packages can arrive anywhere from 10-30 business days or longer. Although First Class is my default shipping method I highly recommend upgraded shipping for express shipping times, guaranteed tracking, and insurance. Please contact us with any questions you may have or to request the use of Fed Ex or UPS services.
